Wonderful Days!!!
I wanted to talk about how school has had a great impact on me at this point in my life!! Yes, it does take a lot of my time and I can't ever seem to get enough of that :-) LOL. I know that all the hard work and effort I have put into my school will eventually pay off, and I have enjoyed meeting many wonderful classmates and had the joy of working with many wonderful teachers and staff at Kaplan. This is an experience I will take with me throughout life and one day I will be able to look back and say to myself " You did it!!!". I hope to have an improved lifestyle and better education at the end of my journey, and be able to say that I met many wonderful people throughout it all :-) Everyone have a great week and blessed day :-) Mitzi

Plagiarism
Hello everyone!!! I wanted to talk about plagiarism and how it affects us. Plagiarism is not only illegal but it is also unethical! As a future healthcare professional I think it is important to remember we all have standards to live up to and it is important to develop our own ideas on a subject. I want to give credit where credit is due when I am using someone else's written work and building from that. It is still a learning experience for me when citing sources because I am not always sure if I have to many sources or if I am writing them out the right way, but it has been a big help to have a guide on APA format to go by! After reading about plagiarism I see the importance of developing your own ideas and citing your sources!! Until next time, everyone have a great week!! :-) Mitzi

Attending college online!!
Hello everyone! I wanted to discuss what it is like for me to be an online student at Kaplan! I didn't think I would ever have the time to go back to school to finish my degree. When I graduated high school I attended a community college to go into the medical field because that has always been what interested me, unfortunately it was hard to attend class and work full time and fit everything into my schedule. I didn't finish because of the conflict with my schedule and gave up on finishing my degree. When I started Kaplan about 5 months ago it was like a dream come true!! :-) I am able to work around my work schedule and still attend classes. The flexibility of seminars and being able to work on projects from the comfort of my on home has been a blessing! I truly enjoy going to school and I am eager to learn all i can about my future profession in medical assisting and I have enjoyed all the classes I have taken. This has been a life changing experience for me, and I can't wait to see what awaits me around the corner!! I hope everyone has a great week!!!
